Alfaa UV Supplies India's First Municipal UV Disinfection System
Alfaa UV has installed and commissioned a 4 MLD UV disinfection system at the commonwealth games village in New Delhi. The client was Delhi Jal Board.
This WTP was built to meet the water requirement of Common Wealth Games Village located near Akshardham Temple. The Common Wealth Games Village consists of residential blocks, police station, hotels, cyber café, gymnasium and community hall. The village shall be capable of accommodating up to 8000 athletes and officials for the 2010 Common Wealth Games to be hosted by Delhi.
The system has been equipped with SCADA capabilities to continuously monitor and log the UV intensity of the system and send out immediate alerts in case of any drop in UV intensity and UV dose.
